“UNPLUGGED ROCKERS WOW THEIR CROWD!”
So says Keith Clark of the Bristol Evening Post in a review following our successful concert at St Georges Theatre Bristol on Saturday night. The Theatre was beautiful, the night was astounding, the atmosphere was on fire and the audience were probably one of the best NTB have encountered for a while.
The saying goes “The show MUST go on”…and not only did the weather put the pressure on whether this show could go ahead but sadly Nikki’s father had passed away just two days before so it was a very difficult time for Nikki. The concert was dedicated to Colin Garfield Lamborn, also a great musician and serious lover of music in his lifetime so we made it a great one.

As if it wasn’t enough to have had such an amazing night at St Georges, whilst driving away from the gig, we tuned into BBC Radio 2 and couldn’t believe our ears… Bob Harris was playing our song “2 into 1″ and giving us the biggest plug by reading out all or our future dates this year and saying some wonderful things about NTB. Great timing Bob.
Finally, those of you who braved the elements to come to Saturdays show thank you all, we are sorry for those of you that got snowed in and couldn’t make it but don’t worry we’re doing another unplugged and recorded concert at The Stables in Milton Keynes on Sat 13th March… Hopefully the snow might have cleared by then Ha haa.
