In 1985 Nikki played the part of Persian Moll in Vivian and Ki Stanshall’s comic opera Stinkfoot, which led to a writing partnership between Nikki and Vivian. It was Vivian who persuaded Nikki to move up to London and start a career in music. Stinkfoot has now been rewritten by Ki Longfellow-Stanshall and returns to the Thekla Bristol in July when Nikki will reprise her role.
